Lobster Cave is a high-end seafood restaurant located in Beaumaris, 30km south-east of the Melbourne CBD. I designed a hypothetical brand identity that better conveys the upmarket appeal of their business.
Using the geometry and form of a lobster's tail as my main reference, I created a stylised lobster tail graphic as the pictorial mark, and paired it with a complementary typeface (with some custom adjustments) to form the full combination mark. The subtle variance in line thickness, as well as the refined colour palette, communicate the sense of elegance that is central to the brand's culture as an upmarket seafood restaurant.
