Sapere Aude is an essay by Robin Kinross that explores the role of graphic design in facilitating critical thinking. I designed an A4 8-page booklet that contains an excerpt from Kinross' essay about book design, and arranged the text with relevant images across three page spreads.

I designed the page spreads and cover in Adobe InDesign. To keep the page spread designs consistent, I utilised a 3-column grid system to align all of the text and images evenly. I had the finished booklet printed on 150gsm matte paper and bound with saddle-stitch binding. The saddle-stitch binding allows the reader to lay the booklet flat, meaning the full page spreads can be viewed without risking damage to the spine or the inner edges of the pages.
